Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. It snowed overnight. No chance of riding outdoor. Perfect for riding on the trainer. I decided to ride on Rouvy's Hollywood Hills route. Lots of fun and good memories. Turns out that this was the same route that I used to take while riding with the La Grange club ride that I used to do when I was in my early to mid twenties. So many fond memories... It took a while before the legs got warmed up. I included about 70-ish bots. But they were rated way above my capability. At the start, they just took off. I had no intentions of keeping up with them, so this was just practicing how Rouvy works. The first few miles goes through the city streets on rolling terrain. I remembered to bring my Garmin GPS to compare the wattages. They were very similar. The route ends up going through the mountains of Hollywood. Lots of nice homes and narrow streets. About what I remembered it. Eventually, it ends up on Mulholland Drive. That's when I was able to confirm that it was in fact the same route as La Grange. There was an intersection that was dangerous. I will never forget it. It undulates and ends up on Sepulveda Blvd. Then it descends down back to the Santa Monica area. The finish is located exactly at the same spot where the club ride sprint finish ends. Concentration was good. A bit on the impatient side for the first 5 minutes, until the scenery captivated my attention. Balance and form was good. There's a slight wobble to the trainer while in the saddle. I have a mousepad underneath the riser block and I secured the front wheel with an innertube. Perhaps I'll have to try it without securing it. It has a resonating wobble to it, so it requires conscious attention to form. Perhaps that's a good thing. Gear worked perfect. The trainer feels real good. Very realistic. Ailments, some mild knee soreness that has gone away since. Nutrition was good. No hunger signs. I had about 2/3rds of my Gatorade. No water. Other notes, there were two other cyclists on this course at the same time I was riding. I wish there were lots more.
