First part cold and up a mountain, second part a verrry nice ride. After turning south, 2/5 of the ride, a strong headwind. I didn’t look at scenery or take pictures, just head down and getting through it. Very slow going but a good challenge. I was listening to Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s biography again today, so when I came upon this one ranch, I took the picture! Tonight we are staying at a wonderful bike hostel. The man who runs it made this floor mosaic out of the wood he used to build the cabin I’m in. The only other wood piece is the bicycle made out of balsa wood. I kept studying it because I thought it was beautiful and I love miniature things. He had two extras, and gave me one! This will be a very special memory and keepsake. You will also see the no vacancy signs in my photos, and we are a full two days out from Yellowstone. I like the looks of this cowboy church, would love to attend on a Sunday!
