Lovely Sunday afternoon with temps in the mid-70s and trails in perfect condition. Rode the newish trail north from 10 Mile Creek to the Bucklodge Conservation area to see if the dry weather made that loop ridable. { Narrator: Friends, it did. } The loop is quite nice -- when not muddy, which, we don't know how often that is. Not the least bit challenging; the challenge is the climb up to it. After the loop we also participated in the "Whistle Pig" loop which amounts to a farm road/trail around some corn fields. LIkely will be a bit more interesting when the corn is 8 ft tall in August, but for now, kinda meh. It's miles, buuuut... Trying to get some longer rides so we can be prepared for the Tour Dem OG on the 10th (Tour Dem Parks, which used to be quite the event, has been cancelled this year and we fear it may be done). Felt good during and after the ride, especially compared to how it was before the OG Fest in May ... conditioning is slooowly returning. w/Mark, Dan
