The ride is a little deceptive on how easy it was. I started out super easy, keeping the cadence above 90 for most of the ride and power below 150 watts except for the hills that I would push it up to 250 - 300 watts. The last 10 miles, I upped the effort just to get the ride done. The main reason I kept the effort down was for my lower back and left knee which were bothering me big time. This was one reason I had to miss so many days. There must have been a forest fire because it was smoky from 2 miles to about 9 miles after that the air was great! My Garmin radar battery was dead as a door nail even though it was on charge, this the 3rd or 4th time this happened, I hope the battery isn't dying on me, I tried plugging it into a portable battery charger while I tried to use it. It worked the last time but not this time. My front camera battery crapped out on me a month ago, Looking for another one to replace it with. On a positive note all the passing cars gave me ample room even most of the Pickup trucks! I had to make one very quick stop to adjust and stretch my lower back with about 6 miles to go, it just got too painful to continue without stopping. Hopefully, my left knee and lower back gets better soon too. This was a very pleasant ride as the adventure continues, be safe out there and enjoy your ride!

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
