It’s a great day. Feels like springtime. The company went to Redrock Canyon today. I decided to go to Keene. Glad I did, the weather is favorable. In the 70's. Winds from the North West. I made it to the summit of the descent in good average time. I cruised the downhill and put in two digs over the risers. I didn't bother checking the time when I reached the base. The climb went fast. The first couple miles was in heat. The temperature dropped as I was ascending. The landmarks went quick. I stopped twice to take photos. Otherwise, non stop to the summit. The legs felt pretty good. After reaching the summit, I took a few moments to relax. Practiced no handed riding. I made my way back home. I was tempted to add OTR, but I have stuff to do. I shut it down after reaching the top of Weston. Concentration was good. The morale was good. Gear worked flawless. Ailments were minimal. Some minor hand numbness after climbing out of the saddle over extended periods of time. Mitigated by alternating hand positions on the hoods. Balance and form was good. No handed on the left side was a bit iffy. Nutrition was good. No hunger signs. I went through about half my Gatorade. Other notes, no other cyclist today. There were visitors at the Loop Monument. They are continuing to build the campground near the summit.
