Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I got up around 7 AM-ish. I had breakfast and then decided to ride without taking the usual nap. I had to throw on the inflation kit. I installed frame protection tape on the seat tube, bottle mount side. It looks real good. I'll be doing more of that in the near future. The weather is great at this time. Cool, in the 70's. Winds from the North West. As I was riding just past the mail lockers, I hit a rock about the size of a soda can. Didn't even see it coming. I got off my bike to check the front wheel. All looks well, it's in perfect true. Later in the ride, I checked the steerer tube stop. That seemed to be working perfect. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation, but not so much. The Alpine Forest climb went fast. I was out of the saddle most of the time. I had to alternate hand positions on the hoods as my left wrist was getting sore. I counted all the bumps as I was passing over them. Before I knew it, I was at the summit of Arosa. I zipped around the backside and then to the Banducci Summit. From there, I took a few moments rest and headed back down the mountain. There was some traffic mitigation along the way. Descending off the Banducci Wall was a treat, but I was erring on the side of caution. After making it back to OTR, the descent was fun and games. I stopped to pet the local horses and take photos. From there, it was non stop to home, the usual push over Mariposa and shutting it down at the top of Weston. Concentration was good. No gremlins today. I love this time of the day for riding, so peaceful. Gear held up perfect, although the rear brake was exhibiting rubbing towards the end of the ride. The brakes may need to be bled. More research on that later. Ailments were minimal. Some wrist pain on the uphill, but got better by using different hand positions. Balance and form was good. Other notes, no cyclists today.
