Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today's weather was excellent. Winds to the south, and temperatures in the 70's. I had pretty good legs. I got to the top of Woodford-Teh. in about 10 minutes. cruised the downhill. I did good tempo with short intervals. My HR was responding great today. I think I maxed out around 170BPM. Much better than the last few rides. As for ailments, not a whole lot. I had some numbness in the hands. But just a hint. I shook my hands every now and again, and that seemed to keep it under control. Before the ride, while getting dressed, my back was a little sore. I was wondering if I was going to experience soreness in the ride. To my surprise. None. My right shoulder is still bothering me, not as much as before though. I think it's getting better. I can feel the soreness when I'm doing my strength training. My right calf cramped on the last mile of the climb. I backed off, and it went away. No need for heroics at the expense of injury. Gear is working great, no problems there. I set my Gopro to the highest quality setting. After watching the video on my computer, I noticed that the colors were more accurate, but the image was noticably less sharp.
