The good, the bad, and the uggly today. The good, I was able to get out before it was too late and I did good time to the summit of OTR. The bad, I had some GI cramps today during the ride. The uggyl, it didn't subside, so I was suffering for a good chunk of the ride. Nevertheless, I put in what I planned. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation. The Alpine Forest was a bit slow to start, but picked up when I reached the speed bumps. I made my way around the backside. Pushing 40 MPH on the first dip. After reaching the summit of Banducci, I pulled over to recoup a bit, let traffic by, then headed down the mountain. Traffic mitigation was so-so. There was an @sshole that nearly ran me off the road. Will check the video footage if it shows the license plat on his truck. I should have yelled, but didn't. You never know who's behind the wheel. Descending off the Banducci Wall was mostly safe. I tucked in the last half. I made my way up Highline as was planned. I did the Buffalo run. After making it back to OTR, I was able to relax a bit and enjoy the downhill. I pushed over Mariposa doing no more than a moderate effort. I shut it down after reaching Weston. Concentration was good, despite the GI cramping. My concentration carried me back home. Balance and form was good. Gear worked flawless, although the front brake is squealing more than I would have liked. Perhaps it requires a bit of cleaning. Ailments, as mentioned the GI cramping was horrible. Otherwise, some right hand numbness while out of the saddle. Nutrition was good. I drank only water on this ride. No hunger signs, likely suppressed by the GI cramping. Other notes, no cyclists today.
