I set out what I planned from yesterday. I decided to ride in 4 pace groups. I had an hour to ride as I have an appointment at 1PM today. I went from 1 to 2.2ish pacer groups. The first two groups were mostly warmup. The legs were a bit heavy to start. By the time I reached the third group, I was fully warmed up. I was able to stay with all of the groups. Although, it was a bit odd that sometimes I would be putting out much higher wattages than those around me just to keep up. Not sure what that's all about. I hopped into a C pacer group for about 5 minutes before shutting it down. I was having to ride out of the saddle most of the time just to keep up. After the 5 minutes passed, I shut it down and cooled down for about 5 minutes. Concentration was so so to start. It's that first 25 to 30 minutes that's the worst. Like warming up a diesel engine. After that, the moments were more captivating. Balance and form felt good. It got better as my legs warmed up. Ailments were next to none. No hand numbness. Gear worked flawless, although I forgot to use the Ant+ dongle, so no HR metrics on this workout. Only for the cooldown phase (I had to hop off the trainer to connect the cable). Nutrition was good. No hunger signs I drank mostly water with a few sips of Gatorade. Other notes, I forgot to check how many people were present. The Emonda feels good on the trainer.
