I got out a bit earlier than usual. But, by about 15 minutes or so. The legs felt sluggish to start. It became better as the ride progressed, but overall an average ride nonetheless. I didn't bother checking the time at the top of OTR. Likely in average time at best. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation. Arosa was better than I anticipate. The legs were a bit heavy, but the patience wasn't too bad. I was near max over the top. I made my way around the backside. I reached 42+MPH on the descent. I made my way to the summit of Banducci. I took a few moments rest, fed half a Clif Bar, then headed back down the mountain. Descending off the Banudcci Wall was a treat. From there I made my way up Highline and onto the Buffalo Run. I headed back to OTR where I fed the last half of the Clif Bar. The rationale being that I need to train the GI for bigger rides. The OTR descent was fun and games. I pushed over Mariposa and then back home. I shut it down at the top of Weston. Concentration was ok. I had the sleepy head feeling going on. Patience was so so to start, but got better as the ride progressed. Ailments, some hand numbness while out of the saddle for extended periods. The legs were heavy today. I guess they haven't recovered from the weekend's ride and core training from yesterday. Balance and form was good. Gear worked flawless. Nutrition was good. I went through one bottle of water and a few sips of Gatorade. I fed a Clif Bar at the top of Banducci and the top of OTR on the return. I'm training the gut to absorb solid food in preparation for the more extended rides and eventually the Spooktacular ride later this year. Other notes, I forgot to start the GoPro at the top of Banducci. I noticed when I reached OTR on the return. So I lost some footage. I saw two or three cyclists today.
