My initial attempt to ride it was raining so I waited for it to stop. Walking around my legs were still super sore, so when I started my ride I was expecting to be sore but my legs didn't feel too bad. Because it was so dark out I decided to do an easier ride because I didn't want to run into or over anything that could cause me harm. I hit so many pot holes and rough roads patches it could have been ride ending in the worse sense. Even thought the it wasn't the best of conditions it was a pleasant ride. The great thing about tonight's ride vehicular traffic was on the light side and the majority of drivers gave me ample space by moving into the next lane, this doesn't happen much so when it does it makes the ride so much a better experience and a great adventure! This was my local hill ride don't laugh, it's the best I can do in the area. These little hills do help on the bigger and longer ones. the first half seems so much longer than the second half, maybe because there is more rough roads on the first half. This ride report is taking much longer to write because I keep falling asleep. The last 10 plus miles it was misty drizzle rain as if I wasnt already soaked from the wet roads, this made sure I would be soaked thru and thru. If you happen to be riding North bound on Rte 70 be very careful just past Spring Lakes Rd the road that takes you into Country Lakes there is a part of a large truck tire that if you hit will definitely not be pretty and just past it is another piece of the same truck that will finish the job that first one didn't complete! The remaining of the ride was uneventful outside of my main light died, luckily I brought a backup light just for this very reason. Onwards to the next great adventure. Be safe out there, enjoy your ride...
