I wasn't sure how I was going to feel missing so many days due to rain! So I thought I go real short just in case, but was feeling better than I thought I would be so I went a little further. I got out much later than I had expected, I remove rear camera mount and replace it with a radar and camera mount. The screws were were stripped so it took me longer to get the job done, I thought I discovered where the clicking was coming from, I removed the cadence/speed sensor, it was loose so I removed it as it wasn't needed since my power meter took care of that. I also lowered the handle bar angle as it was a little high. So, finally I was out and riding, No clicking for the first 6 miles and I was happy, This was when I was finally able to pickup speed and increase power and cadence... the clicking was back, bummer! There's two more things I'm going to check before I dismantle the bottom bracket. Install a different rear wheel and check to see if there is a crack in the frame, I don't think it is either of these things but it is easier to do then what I know I will really need to do plus I will need to clean the bike and it will be easier do at this time, LOL! Back to the ride, the slight change in bar position puts me in slightly better aero position and is better on my hands. The ride was going along nicely, I only had to make 2 stops along the way the first one was to reset the rear light that I had on flashing that went on constant, so I put it back to flashing. for some reason seemed to be less bright, need to check the setting. I stopped again because I thought the rear blinking light turned off, but it was still blinking. On Rte 70, I get to the the short cut turn off Lakehurst Rd, Rte 530, I decided to not take it. Luckily there were no cars, just past this turn off the shoulder is full of sand and is dangerous for road bikes someone is going to get seriously hurt or killed here, The sand is caused by cars and trucks driving over the dirt/sand as a short cut to avoid the stop sign, The highway department should either make it a road or put up barriers or plant trees so these drivers aren't able to cut thru. I really hate this section small at least I know about it and can deal with it. Other than that small area the ride was great and felt so smooth I wish I could have stayed out much longer. Be Safe Out There, Enjoy Your Ride!
