The weather is on the cool side, very comfortable. I wore arms, knees, cap and newspaper sheet in the jersey. The right sit bone muscle continues to be sore. It's getting better, albeit very slow. I think I got the saddle height right. Aside from the soreness, the legs felt pretty good. I made it to the summit of OTR in good time. The plan was to make it to the summit of OTR and see how it feels. I was feeling good enough to add Banducci. And that's what I did. There was some traffic mitigation, otherwise went as usual. Mostly out of the saddle effort to the top. I decided to head up Banducci to see how it felt. When I made it to Brite Lake, I was getting signs of soreness, so I headed back from there. The rationale, is take it slowly. I have plenty of time to get back to the usual routine. Descending off the Banducci Wall had some wind conditions, but I played it safe and feathered the brakes most of the way down. After making it back to OTR, it was mostly fun and games. I shut it down at the top of Weston. Concentration was good. No lapses or gremlins. Balance and form is good. The saddle height looks good. Nutrition was good. I fed a waffle topped with apple sauce before the ride. That held me over. Ailments, the right sit bone muscle (inner thigh). Gear worked flawless. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
