New Bern ride to find air for tire

Day 24

Rain zero miles day. Ubered into town, bought Target air pump

Took a rain day and rest before a challenging 73 mile day to Plymouth tomorrow.

Rode my bike to BP station in the morning to try to pump up tire. Didn't work, hose connection just wouldn't seal. Back to the hotel. Plan B. Uber to target to buy a floor pump. Ate lunch in town and saw the Pepsi Store, birthplace of Pepsi. Bears. (New Bern is sister city to a similarly named city in Europe, where Bern/Bruin means bear I think...)

Back at the hotel, tire nicely pumped to 65 front and rear for easy rolling on a long day tomorrow. Laundry is even done. What could go wrong now?

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail).
