The weather is on the windy side. Temperature around 65-ish degrees. I decided to do an “easy” ride. So, I headed up to the summit of Banducci and then back. The legs were ok to start, considering the previous ride. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation. Winds were prevailing from the East. I was near max going over the top. More of the same to the summit. I kept the tempo steady, mostly moderate tempo. After reaching the summit, I pulled over to recover. After letting traffic by, I headed back down the mountain. It was mostly safe with minimal traffic from behind. The descent off the Banducci Wall was a bit dangerous. There was turbulent cross winds on the way down. I had to feather the brakes. There was also some traffic mitigation from behind. From there, I headed down OTR. Mostly fun and games. I took my time going over Mariposa and shut it down after I made it back to the top of Weston.
Concentration was good. I had a few things to think about. Balance and form was mostly good. Nutrition was good. No hunger signs. I drank 2/3rds of my powder drink. No water. Ailments were minimal. Just a bit of hand soreness. The joints felt good. The glutes felt ok. Gear worked flawlessly. There were no cyclists today.
