Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

My right knee has been sore for the past day, so I was keeping an eye on it. The first mile was the worst, but as the miles went on, it actually got better. My right inner quad was also tender, but didn't escalate. The weather was a bit on the hot side, but tolerable. The wind was from the South East, but turbulent. I was debating on going to WS given the wind conditions. So, I decided to head up to the summit of Banducci to see what the wind was doing on that side of Tehachapi. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation. I was near max going over the top. The remainder of the climb was more of the same. I was watching my six and doing in and out of the saddle efforts. When I made it to the summit of Banducci, I pulled over to assess the wind conditions. It turned out that the wind did a reversal. So, I had to decide which direction to go. I chose SS by a slim margin. I let traffic by and headed down the mountain. The descent was mostly safe, with minimal traffic from behind. I kept a steady tempo through the farmlands. I noticed that the wind was almost perfectly to the South, but it felt like a slight tailwind on my way out to SS. Nevertheless, I made my way to the back entrance. I put in a good sprint on the downhill, reaching 40 MPH in the tuck. I forgot to check the time through the tunnel, but I estimate that it was around 1:02 hours. After making it into town, I noticed that I was low on my sport drink. So, pulled into a public area where I could refill and mix a bottle from the spare one I was carrying in my saddle bag. Shortly after, I got back on the road and made my way through the remainder of SS and through the farmlands. I was expecting harsh headwind conditions, but it wasn't too bad. I was able to hold between 13 and 15 MPH going into a turbulent wind. On the North bound segments, I was going into a tailwind, so I was able to cover a lot of ground over time. I made it passed boss hogs in about 1:24-ish minutes, so I was doing good time. The last climb went well. I was dancing on the pedals and in the saddle to recover. After reaching the summit, i pulled over to swap out the GoPro battery. I then made my way to Route 202. There was minimal traffic, so it was mostly safe. The descent off OTR was mostly fun and games. I pushed over Mariposa aided by a tailwind. I was doing the numbers in my head, trying to guess my finishing time. I was within 2 minutes of my estimated time. I shut it down at the top of Weston.
Concentration was mostly good. I felt like I was in the zone most of the time. Patience felt good. There were minimal gremlins. Balance and form was good. Ailments, I started with a sore right knee that got better with the ride. My right inner glute was a bit sore, but never escalated. I was standing to help mitigate the pressure in that area. It seemed to help. Gear worked flawlessly. Nutrition was good. No hunger sings. I went through 2 full bottles of my sport drink and some water. Other notes, I saw two cyclists today.
