Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

The weather is getting colder. It was below 40 degrees with winds from the north. I wore 2 base layers, one of which was a long sleeve jersey, arms (on top of inner layer), knees, skullcap. I was comfortable, but my legs were a bit heavy today. It's that cold that keeps my legs from staying warmed up, even with the knee warmers. I ended up doing modest tempo to the top of Banducci. The return trip was a bit faster, in moderate tempo. I was getting battered around by the wind until I reached Pelisser. It was somewhat of a reward to turn into a tailwind. My legs started to get warmed up a bit more and I was able to up the pace a bit. My concentration was so-so, being battered from the winds for the first half of the ride. It got better on the last half. Balance was ok, for a good part of the ride, I was leaning into the wind, so it was difficult to keep balance. Going east was favorable going into the tailwind. My legs felt more fluid at that point, and for most of the remainder of the ride. Gear is working well. Ailments were pretty much none, but my legs were heavy today.
