Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The weather has let up by a few degrees. I got out around 8:30AM. The legs felt pretty good to start. Just as the ride started, it felt like I had a saddle sore. I gave it a mile or two and it went away. That would have been a game changer for this ride. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall had modest traffic mitigation. I was near max going over the top. I did no less than moderate tempo to the summit. After reaching the summit, I pulled over to recover and let traffic by. About a minute later, I headed down the mountain. The descent was mostly safe with minimal traffic from ahead or behind. I reached 40 MPH on the descent. The trek to SS went quick. It felt like I had a mild tailwind. I was doing about 20 MPH most of the time. After passing the front entrance, I stretched on the bike. I then made my way around the backside and then downhill towards the town. I put in a good sprint. It felt like I had slight headwind. The form felt good. I stopped at the local park to bio. Shortly after, I got back on the road. I passed the tunnel in about 1:03-ish hours. I stopped once more at the local mini-mart to mix a powder drink with the third water bottle I had in my saddle bag. From there, I headed back. The trek through the farmlands was mostly a game of patience. I was trying not to count the miles. I passed Boss Hogs in about 1:28-ish miles. So, I gave up around 5 minutes on the return. The last climb went as usual. I had to stop once to swap out the GoPro battery. It took 2 or 3 minutes for the legs to get back to where it was. I kept the tempo going over the top, no heroics. I was able to recover on the false flat. The morale was better, I had mostly downhill remaining. Route 202 had minimal traffic mitigation. The descent off OTR was mostly fun and games. I pushed over Mariposa and then Weston. I shut it down at the top.
Concentration was good. Patience was in check. I had minimal lapses and minimal gremlins. Balance felt good. Ailments, some hand numbness while out of the saddle. The saddle soreness in the first few minutes went away. Nutrition was good. I drank close to two bottles of sport drink and some water. Gear worked flawlessly. Other notes, there was only one cyclist today.
