Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

As planned. I had to decide whether to go to Willow Springs or CV and back. Since the wind was calm and slightly from the North West, I decided to go to Willow Springs. The weather is in the low 50’s. I wore arms, knees, head cap, thick base layer and a jacket. I was sufficiently warm for the duration of the ride. The legs felt good to start. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation, so I was on 6 O’clock alert. I was near max going over the top. It was more of the same to the summit. After reaching the summit, I pulled over to recover and let traffic by. I made it there in average time. After a few moments, I headed down the mountain. It was safe. No traffic from behind and just a few on-coming cars. From there, I made my way around the farmlands. Probably the most boring part of the ride. At least the wind was in my favor. I made it to Boss Hogs in about 1:03-ish hours. So, I gave up a few minutes, otherwise good average time. The last climb went well. I kept a steady tempo, no less then moderate. I was doing in and out of the saddle efforts. The morale felt good as I crested the summit. Once there, I took a few moments to recover while on the bike. Shortly after, I made my way to Route 202. Route 202 had some traffic mitigation from behind, so I was cautious to let traffic by before merging into the left turn lane. The return descent off OTR was mostly fun and games. I pushed over Mariposa and shut it down when I reached the top of Weston.
Concentration was good. I was in the zone for most of the ride. My patience was in check. The morale felt good. I had minimal lapses and no gremlins to speak of. Balance and form was good. Nutrition was good. I drank most of my sport drink, no water or feeding. Ailments were minimal. Some hand soreness. My left hip was getting sore on the last half of the ride. Perhaps I need to move it forward a bit. Gear worked flawlessly. Other notes, no cyclists today.
