Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It's snowing out, so a good day to ride on Zwift. I was reluctant to get up earlier, but managed to get up. I planned on posting a negative split. Anything better was to be a bonus. After getting things set up, I hopped on and got on with business. Half way through the ride, I noticed my HR metric wasn't showing. So, it's missing from this entry. The legs felt pretty good to start. My left hip was a bit sore while riding in the saddle. So, I was doing my best to keep from agitating it. It didn't detract too much from my effort. I had my Halo Replays going. The first 15 minutes was the usual warmup till the start of the first climb. When the climb started, I kept the tempo steady. I was trying to keep the Wattage at or less than 3 W/kg. I did this for the entire climb. I felt a bit impatient, so I was coaching myself to let time by. After finishing the climb for the first time, I think I made it there in the middle of the pack. I headed back to town. I put a modest dig through the tunnel riser. The second (and last) lap went as planned. I was able to make it to the base of the second climb in better time than the previous. During the climb, I kept the tempo steady and high. I was doing more than 3 W/kg for the majority of the climb. I was ahead of my Halo Replay. I kept this tempo going to the summit. I noticed that I was going to post a PR, so I kept the power down going over the top. I finished in the top third and posted the PR I was going after. From there, I let up a bit to recover as I was at maximum. I pushed through the tunnel riser while putting in a dig. A short while after, I noticed I was on good time for the lap. I kept the tempo high, getting out of the saddle to keep things going. I crossed the line posting a PR and a negative split. I was second of about 14 or 15 people doing the course. After crossing the line, about a minute later, I was given leader's jersey. Apparently, the guy ahead of me logged off. From there, I commenced the cool-down phase. I cooled down till my HR reached 112 BPM.
Concentration was good, perhaps impatient to start. Balance and form was good. Ailments were minimal. No hand numbness this time. Perhaps a hinting on soreness, but not so detracting. Nutrition was good. I fed half a banana, grapes, apple sauce, a bit of Gatorade and a Clif Bar. I had to feed this much since it was later in the day than I am used to riding. Other notes, I think there were about 1500 riders when I hopped on.
Other notes, Gear worked flawlessly, with the exception of the HR sensor. I had my GPS running while recording the metrics from the left crank watt meter and HR sensor. It picked up the signals, but the Zwift app didn't. Perhaps a glitch with Bluetooth or Ant+.
