I got up late, so I had to find a ride that would last about an hour because that's all I had to spare. I chose to ride the biggest route on the Scotland map. It was about 14+ miles with over 900 feet of climbing. I've never done this lap before. The scenery was nice. There was one or two uphill timed segments. I placed top 10 on one of them. I was trying to keep the wattage above 100 watts and around 3 W/kg + or -. Not much else to tell other than the body cooperated. After completing the first lap, I commenced the cooldown till the HR reached 112BPM.
Concentration was good. I was in the zone most of the time. No gremlins to speak of. Balance and form was good. Ailments were minimal. Some minor hand soreness was all. Nutrition was good. I fed a banana, a few grapes, apple sauce, a Clif Bar and a swig of Gatorade before the start of the ride. That held me over plenty. I drank about half my sport drink, no water. Gear worked flawlessly. I placed markers around the trainer to see where it moves while riding. Apparently the movement comes from the rear feet. I am not sure what to make of it, other than it needs more friction to stay put. Perhaps I'll put a couple pieces of innertube under the feet. I did that for the front wheel block and it was planted for most of the ride. Other notes, I didn't bother checking the rider count before hoping on, but it was likely around 1000 for the Scotland map.
