Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It was cloudy and cold when I got up from my morning nap, so I decided to hop on Zwift. I was reluctant to do another Watopia Mountain Route, so I joined a Robo Pacer group instead. I chose the 2.2 W/kg group in France. I was planning on riding for about 15 miles and around an hour max. The first few miles were the most difficult. I hopped on without a proper warmup. After the legs settled in, I was feeling more comfortable. It was interesting that I was putting in 3 W/kg while every one else was less and I was struggling to stay with the Robo Pacer. I never figured out why I had to work so hard to keep up. After about half the ride was complete, we ventured into a hillier region. That’s where I felt more at home. From that point on, I was at the front. Eventually I stayed with a small group of 6 other riders. We held our position in the front till I finished my ride. After about 18 miles of riding, I shut it down and commenced the cooldown. I waited till the HR dropped below 112 BPM.
Concentration was good. Perhaps a hint of impatience, otherwise in the zone. The miles seemed to go quick. Likely due to the flattish terrain. Balance and form was good. Gear worked flawlessly. The innertube section under the trainer feet kept the trainer planted 100% of the ride. Nutrition was good. I fed half a banana, some grapes, apple sauce and a Clif Bar before the start of the ride. That held me over. I drank about half my sport drink, no water. Ailments were minimal. Perhaps some hand soreness. Interesting, almost no hand numbness as I was not wearing gloves. Other notes, I didn’t bother checking how many riders were on the France map, but I think it was less than 1000 riders.
Other notes, my HR sensor failed to pair with Zwift, so I lost metrics on that.
