Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I had lots of stuff to do this past couple of days. I was able to get out today. I had about 1 hour, so I decided Banducci n Back would suffice. The legs felt a bit sore, but not too detracting from the ride. The wind was very slight today. Temperature in the low 50's. I wore standard winter kit, no full gloves or jacket. Double socks. I felt comfortable. The hands got a bit cold, but nothing detracting. I made it to the end of OTR in good time. Banducci went well. Minimal traffic today. The legs were sore, but it wasn't fatigue. After reaching the summit, I took a few moments rest, then headed back. From there it was mostly fun and games. Concentration was reasonably good. I had a few things to think about, so it helped the miles go by. Balance and form felt good. I recently raised the saddle about 1/4 inch. No issues thus far. Ailments, next to none. Other than the sore legs. Gear worked perfect. The power meter is up and running. Will need to calibrate it before the next ride. Other notes, no other cyclists today. It was raining/snowing the past 2 days. So, somewhat of a good coincidence.
