It's a nice day to get out. It's sunny, winds from the North West, but turned 180. I wore arms, legs, thick base layer, head cap, face mask and my jacket. I was sufficiently warm. The legs felt pretty good from the start. I made it to the top of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation. I was on alert for the entire climb. I was able to relax on Arosa and just focus on the climb. After reaching the speed bumps, I was feeling better in the morale. I was at max going over the top. I zipped my way around the backside and had fun on the descent. I made it to the top of Banducci in about 50 minutes. So, good average time. After recovering, I let traffic by and headed down the mountain. It was mostly safe, with minimal traffic from behind. Descending off the Banducci Wall wasn't too bad. There was a wind condition, but it was constant and not turbulent. I pedaled as I was descending for extra stability. From there, I headed down OTR. It was mostly fun and games. I pushed over Mariposa and made my way to the top of Weston where I shut it down.
Concentration was good. The morale felt good with minimal lapses and no gremlins. Balance and form was good. Ailments were minimal. Perhaps mild hand soreness. The sit bones feel ok. Nutrition was good. I had oatmeal, part of a banana and some grapes for breakfast, and the other half of the banana and grapes just before departing. Gear worked flawlessly. Although, the bottom bracket was exhibiting hints of clicking. More confirmation on that later. Will have to decide when to bring it in for servicing. Other notes, no cyclists today. There were some friendly walkers.
