Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

It's great weather now. Feels like Spring time. In the low 70's. Winds from the South East. I wore arms, knees, thick and a base layer. I probably could have gone without the knees. I felt pretty good to start. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation, so I was having to let traffic by. I felt better in the morale after making to the Arosa climb. The climb went quick. I had stuff to think about. I was at max going over the top. I zipped around the backside and had fun on the descent. After making it to the Banducci Summit, I took a few moments to recover. I let traffic by and headed back down the mountain. I had to let traffic by as I was descending, otherwise it was safe. Desccending off the Banducci Wall was safe. I had a slight headwind that wasn't turbulent. So, I was able to let the brakes go. The descent off OTR was mostly relaxing. I pushed over Mariposa and shut it down at the top of Weston.
Concentration was good. I was in the zone. Patience was in check. No gremlins worth mentioning. Balance and form was good. Ailments were minimal. Some hand soreness. Perhaps a hint of soreness on the upper part of my right foot on occasion. Nutrition was good. I had a bowl of oatmeal and half a banana for breakfast. I drank most of my sport drink. No water. Gear worked flawlessly. Other notes, no cyclists today. There was a runner.
