Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The weather is cold, but sunny. Perfect day for Keene n Back. I wore the standard winter kit. Jacket and all. (w/ Knee warmers).I made it to the summit of the descent in average time. The wind was heading south. I cruised the downhill. Putting in some digs over the risers. I reached the base, but I didn't bother to check the time. I removed my face mask and put it into my extra bag. As I was starting the ascent, I fumbled the mp3 speaker. So, I had to pull over (at the Chavez Center) and reset the music. From there, it was non-stop. The miles went quick. I had some things to think about. I was aided by a generous tailwind and the air was nice and dense with O2. The landmarks went fast. As I was approaching the summit, I was wondering if the GoPro would last that far. I was doing faster tempo, just to liven things up a bit. I made it to the summit and the GoPro was still recording. I checked the remaining charge, and it was at 9%. I did the numbers in my mind, and calculated that I had just enough to make it back, without having to swap batteries. This gave me incentive. So, instead of soft-pedaling the downhill, I ended up putting a bit more power into it. I made my way up weston, mashing the uphill, and made it back before the GoPro gave out. Concentration was very good. Ailments, next to none. Balance and form was good. Gear worked great. I got my new Oakley sun glasses yesterday and tried them for the first time (on my bike) today. They worked great! Fantastic clarity and the tint seems to be agreeable with my eyes. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
