Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It's windy today, from the South East. Nice and cool. Not a good day to go into CV. I ended up riding through the Alpine Forest, and to the top of Banducci. I was considering doing another lap around the Alpine Forest, but the wind was too harsh. Perhaps next time. The legs felt good from the start. It didn't take much to get them warmed up. I reached the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banducci wall went well. No red-lining. I had a nice tailwind to help. I headed up the Alpine Forest. I had some things to think about, so I didn't pay attention to the slow pace that is climbing. I made it to the top without red-lining it. The descent to Banducci was fun. I reached over 44 MPH. The way back was mostly moderate tempo. Nice and steady. I decided to add the summit of Highline. I knew that I'd have a nice tailwind on the descent. It turned out to be less than I anticipated. I don't think I reached 40 MPH. Nevertheless, it was fun. From there it was into OTR and over Mariposa and then home. Nothing much to write about there. Concentration was good. I had some things to wonder about. Balance and form felt good. Ailments, next to none. Gear worked perfect, but the Charity Miles app continues to bug out. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
