The weather is a bit cold today. I didn't feel like going to WS. So, I decided to ride indoors, instead. The map of the day was NY. I didn't feel like doing that map, so I chose the Watopia Mountain Loop. I got my gear ready, put the clothes on, and hopped on. I felt pretty good from the start. There were over 5000 riders today, on this map. I made my way to the base of the climb. About 10 to 15 minutes, to get there. I waited till I started to sweat. About 20 minutes into the ride. Plus or minus. Then turned on the fan. From there, it was all uphill. I put in a good effort. Doing 3+ Watts/kg while out of the saddle. and over 2 Watts/kg in the saddle. I was out of the saddle, most of the time. There were a lot of riders doing this course. It made it more interesting and a good distraction. After reaching the tunnel. I tried to keep the power down. The HR climbed to about 150. After exiting the tunnel, I sat up and wiped sweat, hydrated, etc. I pushed a bit more in the last few minutes of the climb. I completed the climb in about 28 minutes and change. A solid time or me. It put me around 20 something in the day's standings. I headed up the bonus climb. Not red-lining it. mostly 3 W/kg, out of the saddle. From there, it was downhill to town. I was trying to keep a good tempo, while staying in the sweet zone. The last effort I put in was the sprint zone. I put in a time of about 29 seconds, or so. I think I got 22nd. I made my way back to the Start Finish and ended with the warm-down. Concentration was good. I think it was a good break from riding out-doors. Balance and form was good. Ailments, next to none. Gear worked great. Other notes, I got 4 ride on's.
