Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. The road bike is still out of commission. So, another indoor training ride on the mountain bike with Zwift. (I put a slick tire on the rear wheel). I have an ERCP tomorrow, so I've been preparing for it mentally, physically, and dietary. The ride went well. I wasn't sure what time I was going to post, with the bike configuration. I was sufficiently warmed up by the time I reached the base of the climb. My right hand is sore from the previous indoor session. Probably pinched a nerve while putting the power into the bike. I kept the tempo steady. Mostly above 3 W/kg. I was out of the saddle most of the time. In the saddle to wipe sweat, hydrate and relieve pressure on the hands and upper body. I was keeping an eye on the landmarks. mainly the small villages, snow line, and the tunnel. The body responded well. I reached the summit in about 29 minutes and change. From there, I went up the bonus climb. Keeping the tempo within my limits, no red-lining it. (At least not too much). From there, it was back to town, and to the finish. Concentration was good. The music definitely helped. I was expecting a package from FedEx, so that was on my mind for the entire ride. They required signature confirmation. Turns out that the delivery guy left it on the porch. (No worries). Ailments, right hand soreness, near the palm. Some mild right knee tenderness. Balance and form felt good. Gear worked good. The bike is skipping gears when I'm in the big little. Will have to tune it up when I get the chance. Nutrition is good. I drank about 1/3 of my Gatorade and some water. Other notes, there were about 3500 riders on this map, today.
