Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The weather was miserable this morning. I hopped over to Walmart to pick up some stuff. I got back, took a nap. Woke up. The weather was still bad. I convinced myself to ride in-doors. The setup took a while, because I had to adjust the rear derailleur for the spare wheel. I think I understand what's happening. I just need to adjust the limiting screws on the rear derailleur. I hopped on the trainer and started the ride. The legs felt average to start. By the time I reached the foot of the climb, I was mostly warmed up. About half way up the climb, I started to perspire. I tried to keep the tempo between 3 and 4 W/kg. And below that for sitting and wiping sweat and hydration. I did a good average time of 9 minutes and change. From there, I headed back to town. Put in a good dig through the tunnel. And began the next lap. Sufficiently warmed up, I was able to cruise my way through town. I was in the company of many other cyclists, so I was trying to sit on wheels, to keep the focus going. I reached the base of the climb and spared no time to put the power down. I was out of the saddle most of the time. Same as the previous lap with wiping sweat and hydrating. I was listening to the music, trying to figure where I'd be when the song ended. I reached the summit in good time. Posting a convincing negative split. After which, I headed back to town and up the tunnel riser, where I put the power down. From the previous lap, I realized that it's easier to put higher wattages through the tunnel riser by using a bigger gear, rather than spinning a smaller gear. I headed back to the start/finish, and posted a negative split. I think I was in the top 20 or 30 riders. about 11th on the last climb. I have to look at the video footage, that I recorded. Concentration was good. Balance and form was good. Ailments, my right knee is still bothering me a bit. Almost detracting, but not quite. I'm going to disassemble the cleats on my shoes. One, for the right knee problem, and two, for the mystery clicks that I'm hearing. Otherwise, gear worked well. Will have to adjust the rear derailleur. Nutrition, no hunger pains, I drank about half my gatorade, that had just a half bottle full, at the start of the ride. I took a few sips of water. Other notes, there were over 2000 riders today, on this map.
