Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Last night, I was thinking about where I wanted to go. I knew I wanted to go to the Alpine Forest. I got up, did my usual stuff. Got up from my nap and noticed that the wind was going the opposite direction. Which was good for a WS ride. I ended up doing both. The legs felt pretty good to start. I was taking it easy for the first 20 some minutes. I reached the summit of OTR in average time. I made my way up Banducci. Some traffic mitigation. I was near max, over the top. Then, the Alpine Forest. I was keeping an eye on my HR, and was trying to keep from red-lining it. When I reached the speed bumps, the morale lifted a bit. I made my way around the backside. Having fun on the downhill. Reaching 44 MPH. I rode to the summit of Banducci. Took a few moments rest. I checked the GoPro battery. It was down to 40%. I calculated that it would deplete at about 1:15 to 1:20 hours, into the ride. That would put me somewhere on Highline. I headed down Banducci, going back to Highline. Some fun moments, reaching 40 MPH. I headed out on Highline. Keeping track of the wind direction. As I past Tucker, I was able to see that the wind was going West, from WS. That gave me incentive. I road to WS. I stopped once to swap out the GoPro battery. The return trip was what I expected. A nice tailwind, and a fast return. The last climb up Highline went fast. The downhill was slower than I expected. After making the last riser to OTR, it was mostly fun and games. Concentration was good. I had some things to think about, and the morale was good to start. Balance and form was good. Ailments, minimal, but some fatigue in the legs, to be expected. Gear worked well. The mystery clicks persist. I'm tempted to service the bottom bracket. Maybe lube some linkages. Nutrition was good. I had just enough to last the ride, without rationing. No hunger pains, until I got back. Other notes, there were some gliders at WS. I saw one or two cyclists.
