Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The weather was horrible today. Thick fog-like smoke in the air. The wild fires are not yet over... I decided to ride in-doors. Innsbruck was one of the maps for today. It was the perfect choice for me. I like the climb, as it is less than 30 minutes in duration. I did the 14.7-ish mile loop. I was sufficiently warmed up, by the time the climb started. I was putting in 3 to 4 watts/kg, most of the way up the climb. I was wearing a strap for my clear glasses. It healed a lot. I didn't have to adjust them, from slipping down my nose. I still had to sit down to wipe sweat and hydrate. No way around that. I was passing most people, as I was ascending. Definitely encouraging. I was paying attention to the elapsed time, more than anything. That and my wattage. At times, it felt like I was counting the minutes going by. In those moments, I tried to distract myself by just looking at the scenery and listening to my music. I made it to the summit in about 25 minutes. I think I placed 40-something. Out of 1800 riders, on the map. After reaching the summit, I headed down the mountain. Mostly soft pedaling. Under 100 watts. I made my way through town and back to the start-finish. Concentration was good. My morale was high, so that helped. Ailments, next to none. Balance and form was good. Gear worked greate. Nutrition was good. No signs of hunger pains. I drank about 1/2 my Gatorade. Other notes. I have an ERCP procedure that's going to be done on the 9th. So, I'm now in taper mode. I'll be taking it easy till the day of the procedure. I anticipate that it will take 2 days to recover, before I can even think about hoping on the bike. I'll likely start by hopping on the trainer. More about this later.
