Today was the first day riding since the ERCP, last Wednesday. The body was responsive. I did feel a bit unusual. I saw about 8 cyclists on their way to Keene as I was close to OTR. The wind was from the South East. I made my way up OTR. Reaching the summit in good average time. I headed up the Banducci wall. Doing my best, not to red-line it much. I headed up the Alpine Forest. Doing moderate tempo. Again, trying to stay out of the red zone. I was able to confirm that they have and additional set of speed bumps. So, 8 in all. I was near maximum, making it to Lemans. I made my way around the backside, making good use of my 32T. The backside descent was a real treat. Given the wind conditions, I reached, over 45 MPH. Shortly after, I exited the Alpine Forest and headed up the Banducci summit. I pulled over to recoup and check the GoPro battery. It had about 47% charge remaining. I let traffic by and headed back down the mountain. From there, it was down OTR and back home. Concentration was good, for the most part. Marale was good. Balance and form was a bit off. I guess the few days off had something to do with it. Ailments, next to none. My right ab was a bit sore for a few moments on the last 5 minutes of the ride. Not sure what to make of that. But, it was on the side of the ab where the stent was placed. Gear worked great. But, there's still that annoying rattling sound. I've yet to figure it out. I'm going to start by checking the water bottle holder screws. Nutrition was spot on. No hunger pains. I went through 1/2 of my Gatorade. Other notes. I saw the area in Golden Hills, where a fire took place. It was a field where dry weeds were.
