Today's the first full ride since the ERCP from last week. I had two options, turn around at the loop monument, or do the whole climb. I made my way down the mountain and decided to go the whole way. The wind was somewhat turbulent, but modest. I put in two digs over the risers. I made it to the top of the descent in good average time. After reaching the base, I turned around and headed back. I was getting a bit work, so I unzipped my jacket and jersey. That kept things cool enough for the ascent. Nothing much to tell. I kept the tempo steady. No heroics. The body felt good and responded well to the cold air temperature. Concentration was good. I had some things to ponder, and the music always keeping me company. Balance and form was good. Gear worked flawless. No more creaking noises from the headset and other places. Although I'm not sure if the other places were fixed from the headset servicing that I did. Ailments, some hand soreness. Nutrition was good. No hunger pains. I had nature valley bar before the ride. It was enough to get me home. Other notes, I saw two cyclists today and some folks at the Loop Monument.
