Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Another day for the trainer. A new map has arrived on Zwift. It's called the "Makuri Islands". Based somewhere in Japan. The legs felt pretty good today. I figured this route would take about 30 minutes to complete. It was my first time on this map and route. After the first lap, the clock was at around 25-ish minutes. So, I decided to go further. I ended up taking another route in order to explore. I went to the summit of the castle route. I must have added another 4 or 500 feet in elevation. I felt better in the last half of the ride. My HR was more easily able to increase. I was in and out of the saddle. But, mostly in. I was watching my HR. In the first half, 140 BPM seemed to be the limit of my comfort zone. In the last half, I was able to give it another 5 to 9 BPM's. This map is good for recovery. Perfect for my current purposes. Concentration was good. I was captivated by the scenery. I was using my new laptop. The animation appeared to be smooth and very sharp. Gear worked perfect. Balance and form was good, not great. There was some muscle chafing on the left leg. Will have to investigate that in the next few rides. Nutrition was good. No hunger signs and I had about 1/4 of my Gatorade. No water. Ailments were next to none. I had to watch my HR in the first 30 minutes. Anything above 140 seemed to put me in the dizzy zone. Other notes, there were about 1000 riders at the start of my ride on this map.
Other notes. It appears (on the map) that this course was based on the Salomon Island region and not Japan.
