Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It's warm, but I got out early to avoid the severe heat. In the upper 70's, winds from the North West. I decided to do a climbing day plus some extra miles. The legs felt good to start. When I got to the mail box lockers to stash my extra bottle, I realized that I forgot my keys. In frustration, I banged the handlebars and ended up swinging into my left knee. No serious damage, but it was sore for most of the ride. I decided to keep the bottle on the bike. I made it to the summit of the descent in good average time. The wind was mild at this point. I headed downhill. Some traffic mitigation (giving me some incentive). I put in two modest digs over the risers. After reaching the base, I pulled over to check the GoPro battery. It was at full charge as I had it connected to my battery bank. I made my way up the mountain. It took about 2 miles before I felt my climbing legs come alive. I was listening to my music and checking off the landmarks. I tried not to think too much about how much was left on the ride. Yet, I had to save some matches for later. After I made it past the second dip, I was feeling better in the morale. I kept the tempo steady to the summit. Once there, I was able to relax a bit and head down WTR. The bruise that I put in my left knee was starting to become noticeable, so I kept my attention on it and adjusted the pedaling technique. I made my way up OTR. The legs were sufficiently warmed up, so I was able to hold a steady tempo from start to finish. I think I pulled over at the summit to check the battery on the GoPro, and to give my left knee a few moments respite. From there it was up the Banducci Wall. Minimal traffic mitigation. I used my smallest gear as I was cresting the summit. Then, Alpine Forest. The HR was near max as I entered Arosa, so I had to back off before settling into a tempo I could sustain. I was listening to my music and guessing where I'd be before reaching the speed bumps. It helped. The morale felt much better after I started to tick over the bumps. I was near max going onto Lemans. From there it was the trip around the backside of the Alpine Forest. Having fun on the descent and to the Summit of Banducci. When I got there, I pulled over to take a quick break. I fed a Cliff Bar. Hydrated, filled the primary bottle with what ever was remaining from the extra Gatorade bottle. I decided to head to CV. The left knee was sore, but tolerable. Shortly after, I headed downhill. The descent was fun, doing my tuck. I made my way around the valley floor. Didn't bother checking my time at Boss Hogs. The last climb went without a hitch. I kept the tempo moderate. I sustained my momentum over the top. I pulled over to check the GoPro. The battery was around 68% and holding. From there, it was to Route 202. Some traffic mitigation till I reached OTR. From there it was mostly fun and games to home. Concentration was good. The morale felt good. I genuinely wanted to ride today. Balance and form was good. Ailments, mostly hand soreness and the slight bruise in the left knee. Gear held up perfect. The GoPro and battery bank are working like a charm! Hopefully will be the same for the T-Town ride. Nutrition was good. I fed a Cliff Bar and that held me over for the remainder of the ride. Other notes, I saw about 4 cyclists today. The T-Town ride is looking good. I'm on par with my training.
