Great day for riding. Partly cloudy, in the low 50's. Winds from the North West. I wore arms, legs, 1 base layer and a cap that I put on before the descent to Keene. I felt pretty good out the door. It didn't take long to get warmed up. About the time I reached the top of the descent. I soft pedaled most of the descent. I probably did about average time to the base. I wasn't paying attention to the time at the moment. After reaching the base, I removed my cap and commenced the climb. I started with moderate tempo until I reached the first riser. I pushed a bit over the loop monument. I recovered a few minutes and kept the momentum going. I was doing mostly good tempo from that point to the summit. Concentration was very good today. I had some things to mediate on and I was in the zone for most of the ride (with minimal self coaching). Almost no signs of gremlins today. Balance and form felt good, I was square and on top of the pedals for the majority of the ride. I was out of the saddle frequently. Ailments were next to none. I had some mild hip soreness nearing the summit. Gear is working good. Some squeaks here and there from (what sounds like) the frame and chain? Other notes, I saw one other cyclist about to summit when I started the descent.
