Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today's weather was turbulent. Winds from the North West and South East towards the East part of Highline. I felt ok from the start. Somewhat sluggish. I was sufficiently warmed up by the time i reached route 202. I was expecting a headwind on the outbound on Highline. Turns out that I had a tailwind. As I made my way further down Highline, the wind turned toward the west. After reaching the turn around point I started my return leg and had a tailwind. It persisted for about 1/2 the way back on Highline. Then it turned into a headwind. Very rare when this happens. I conserved my energy going out and picked up the pace on the way back. No serious digs today. Just the necessary effort to get over the summit of Highline. I think I was in my 32T for the last 100 yards over the top. After that, it was cruising and the last effort to get towards OTR. Concentration was good for the most part. I just wanted to get this ride under my belt, going out the door. There were some hints of gremlins on the way out of Highline. I had to coach myself somewhat to stay focused. Fortunately, I felt better on the way back. Balance and form was good. I was using this as my focal point as I felt my concentration sliding. Ailments consisted of minor lower back soreness, some right calf soreness as I was reaching the end of Highline on the return leg. Gear is working well. Some creaking here and there. Difficult to tell. Maybe the wheels need to be reseated. Other notes, no other cyclists today. Highline is passable, with few places that required riding in the car lane.
Other notes, I had some stomach cramping earlier in the day. Fortunately, it did not persist during the ride. I feel much better now in that respect.
