What a great day for a bike ride. Nice and cool. Although, the wind was going North, it helped while climbing. I wore arms, knees, head cap, and a thick base layer. It was in the 50's when I got out. I made it to the end of OTR in good average time. The right knee was cooperating. I headed up Banducci with some traffic mitigation. The knee held up well on that part. After getting onto Arosa, I was able to relax a bit and then settle into a proper tempo. I was in and out of the saddle. After making it to the speed bumps, the morale felt good. My knee held up well. I zipped around the backside and then to the summit of Banducci. I took a few moments rest and then headed back down the mountain. There was a headwind, so I was going slower than usual. At least it was downhill, so no red-lining. Descdending off the wall was fun. a bit of turbulent wind gusts, though. After I made it back to OTR, it was mostly fun and games. Concentration was good. I had a few things to think about. Balance and form was good. I was alternating between left and right legs and then together, up stroke dominance when out of the saddle. Gear held up great. Nutrition was good. No hunger signs. Other notes, I saw one cyclist today descending OTR as I was making my way up.
