Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today's weather was warm, but comfortable. In the low/mid 80's. Winds from the north west. I wore the standard kit + 1 base layer. I felt average going out the door. I cruised my way to the summit of WTR. Getting there in average time. I immediately knew that the weather was going to be more forgiving than the last time I did this ride. I got out a bit late, being that I had my morning nap instead of skipping it after breakfast. I put it into autopilot to the base of the climb. Out of the saddle on the risers. I knew I had a lot of climbing ahead of me after the Keene ascent. In such, I saved some matches for later. I felt good from the start of the ascent. It didn't take much time to get warmed up. I put my matches on the steeper sections as I normally do. I was constantly reminding myself what lay ahead. After making it past the Loop Monument. I throttled back, recovered, and then gradually increased the tempo. This was the case for the remainder of the climb. I felt good going over the top. I took a few moments to recoup and then made my way to OTR. Coming off of a climb and fully warmed up. OTR wasn't too bad. I was constantly reminding myself where I was in the ride and the more difficult sections to come. After making it to the end of OTR, I refilled my bottle (with Cytomax) and commenced to the Banducci wall. Once there, I was able to settle into a good tempo. Picking it up to high tempo over the top. I recovered on the false flat and then finished the climb with moderate to good tempo. I took a couple minutes breather at the summit. Then I headed downhill, practicing my tuck on more than one occasion. I kept the tempo steady going through the farmlands. Picking the tempo up here and there. Stretching all the while. I still had some matches left in me. I used them mostly on the last climb. There was a cyclist taking on provisions at the base of the climb, so I had some incentive. I did good tempo, out of the saddle to keep the momentum going. Slowing down when I felt overly exerted. I did a modest push over the top. Recovered on the false flat. Made my way to Route 202, negotiating traffic, and then the trip down OTR. Afterwards, the usual push over Mariposa, then home. Concentration was the greater of things. I was in the zone, able to focus on several things without too many lapses. Ailments consisted of sore hands. Some lower back soreness. Some pains in the hip/upper quads (left side). None of which escalated, but required me to stop or slow down and stretch. Balance and form seems to be eluding me the last few rides. My right leg feels displaced. I have to check my cleat/shoe position for a more heal out orientation. Not sure if the adjusters have more room? Gear is working well, no issues there. Other notes, I saw 4 cyclists today.
