Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today's weather was hot. In the upper 80's / low 90's. Winds from the North West. I wore the standard kit. I felt average going out the door. It didn't take long before I was sufficiently warmed up. I made it to the end of OTR in average time. The outbound trip to WS was mostly moderate tempo. I was getting out of the saddle often, to keep my legs supple. When I reached the turn-around point, I spared no time and started to head back. Mostly moderate tempo, good tempo over the top with a good kick. Getting onto Banducci started modest. Letting my body to readjust to the climbing effort. I did mostly good tempo and slightly higher over the top. I was near my max. I recovered on the false flat and completed the climb via moderate to good tempo. A modest dig over the summit. I took a couple minutes break. Refilled my bottle with Cytomax. Shortly after, commenced the descent. Practicing my tuck all the while. The trip through the farmlands was mostly moderate tempo. Increasing here and there. I was noticing fatigue in the legs at this point. I approached the last climb modest and kicked to moderate and good tempo. I noticed my left hip / upper thigh was starting to exhibit signs of deep soreness. When I reached the summit (with a modest dig), I slowed down, gave my body a recovering moment. My hip pains diminished. Route 202 was traffic mitigation, ending in a dig over 35MPH. From there, it was fun and games down OTR, up Mariposa (modest) and back home. Concentration was the greater of things. I was in the zone for the greater duration of the ride. No gremlins. Balance and form wasn't so good. The lesser of things. Just didn't have that sense of symmetry. Ailments consisted of some left hip soreness on the last climb, heat exhaustion, some right hand numbness. A hint of lower back soreness. Gear is working well. Other notes, I saw 1 other cyclist and a runner.
