Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today's weather was cold, but bearable with the standard kit + amrs, knees and 1 base layer. I felt good going out the door. But, my stomach has been sore since morning. I took some Mlanta before departing. I think it helped. Suffice it to say, I was a bit sore for the better part of the ride. Within tolerance. I did average time to the top of OTR. In my mind, I was thinking, how does this compare to the indoor trainer. I'd have to say that it was pretty close. It's much easier for me to push the limit while on an outdoor ride. The resistance feels similar. I was trying not to think about the milage left to finish the ride. Mostly thinking of landmarks. Overall, my body was responsive. I was exhausted after making the push over the CVR climb. Concentration was good. I had things to think about and that kept me occupied. Balance and form felt good, not great. Ailments consisted of lingering stomach soreness, maybe a hint of knee soreness. Gear is working well, although the Gopro turned off somewhere in the first half of the ride. I noticed when I was in SS. Other notes, I saw 3 or 4 deer as I was summiting Banducci.
