Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today was raining, so I decided to do an indoor training ride with Zwift. The gear setup worked great. I was up and running in just a few minutes. I did have a problem. There appears to be a problem when using an external monitor. For some reason, the screen has a tearing effect. I experienced the same problem the last time I did an indoor training ride. The temporary solution was to use the laptop's display. I'm not sure exactly how to diagnose the issue, but I'm guessing I'll have to use another external monitor, or try it on a different laptop. As for the ride, it was great. I actually had a hiccup. The PC lost the link to the trainer, so the software thought I was done with the workout and didn't let me continue. I lost about 2 minutes worth of data. After that, it was smooth sailing. The simulator had no other issues for the duration of the ride. I started out by warming up for about 15 to 20 minutes. The Box Hill was my high tempo region. I was doing 140BPM+ on the climb. It takes about 10 to 13 minutes to complete. After that, I tried to keep a tempo that I could sustain for a long time. The course undulates, so I was putting out more wattages in some areas more than others. Overall, I felt good. I worked up a good sweat. I think I lost over 1 pound of water in post weigh in. According to the simulator, there were over 300 cyclists on the course. The simulator provides all the metrics I need to keep my attention. Bike-wise, it didn't make the squeaking noises as in the previous ride.
