Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today's weather was nice and cool. Mid/Low 50's. Winds from the South East. An ideal day for WS n back. I felt good going out the door, but my back was sore from the beggining. I must have slept wrong or something. Nevertheless, I decided to complete the ride. I was having to mitigate the pain. My pace suffered, but at least I wasn't in too much pain. I cruised my way out to WS. Keeping the tempo nice and steady. I was going into the wind, so it felt like I was crawling. I was concentrating on getting to the turn-around point because I knew the tailwind was going to make for a pleasant return trip. That proved to be the case. My back was still sore, but didn't impede my pace much. Concentration was very good. Few lapses. Balance and form felt good, considering my condition going into the ride. Ailments consisted of lower back soreness, nothing much else. Gear is working great. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
