The weather remains cool. In the lower 60's. A bit cloudy, winds from the North West. I decided to head up OTR before Keene today. Just to mix it up a bit. And, to allow the legs to warm up for the returning climb. The legs felt pretty good to start. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. After reaching the summit, I headed back and out to Keene. When I reached the summit of the descent, I pulled over to swap out the GoPro battery. It had about 62% battery life remaining. So, I didn't want to worry about stopping while climbing just to swap out the battery. Nonetheless, it lasted the remainder of the ride. I cruised the downhill. Mostly relaxed. I put in two good digs on the risers. After reaching the base, I headed back without delay. The first mile was a bit impatient to start, but I settled in eventually. Counting off the landmarks helped. I was going to stop for a bio, but decided against it. After the second dip, the morale was feeling better and better. I kept my momentum going over the top, increasing the tempo till I reached the summit. When I reached the summit, I took a few moments to recover and then headed down and back to home. I shut it down at the top of Weston. Concentration was pretty good. I didn't go into the right with a particular subject to think about. So, I was sort of thinking loosely to keep the mind occupied. Balance and form was good. Ailments, some hand numbness. Nutrition was good. No hunger signs. I went through most of my Gatorade and some water. Gear held up perfect. Other notes, there was a couple at the Loop Monument as I was passing by it on the descent. No cyclists today.
