The weather has cleared up. It's a good day to get out for a bike ride. I chose to go to the Alpine Forest. I was slightly delayed because I misplaced my music player. I ended up finding it and got out just as quick. I wore arms, knees, head cap and jacket. I was comfortable for the duration of the ride. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The climb up the Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation, otherwise went well. The Alpine Forest climb went quick. I was at the speed bumps before I knew it. I was near max at the top of Arosa. I zipped around the backside and made my way to the top of Banducci. When I made it to the summit, I pulled over to take a few moments to recover. There was a cloud system rolling in as was visible from the summit. Shortly after, I let traffic by and headed back down the mountain. I let traffic by as I was descending. Descending off the Banducci Wall was safe this time. The wind was steady. After making it back to OTR, I was able to recover and enjoy t he downhill. I pushed over Mariposa, punched up Weston and shut it down at the top. Concentration was good. I was in the zone for most of the ride. The morale felt pretty good. Balance and form was good. Ailments were minimal. I had some minor right knee soreness in the first 10 minutes of the ride. It ended up going away. Nutrition was good. I drank most of my sport drink, no water. Gear worked flawless. Other notes, I saw just one e-cyclist and some walkers.
