Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The weather is fantastic! In the upper 50’s, winds were a bit turbulent, but mostly from the North West. I chose to go to the Alpine Forest and add the Buffalo Run. I’m trying to get into shape for a Caliente ride at the end of the month, or early June. The legs felt good to start. I made it to the summit of OTR in good time. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation, so I was on high alert, otherwise it went as planned. The Alpine Forest went quickly. The legs felt good. I had some stuff to think about, so the minutes went by quick. I forgot to put a GoPro battery in the saddle bag, so I was doing numbers trying to determine if one battery would be enough. By my estimation, I figured I’d be within 10 to 15 minutes charge remaining after making it back home. Turns out that it had about 7 or so minutes. Nevertheless, I made it to the speed bumps and counted them off while keeping my momentum going. I was at maximum going over the top. I pushed over the last kicker and then around the backside. Somewhere around this time, I had sharp pains in the left groin area. It felt like I hit a nerve. I let up and reduced my speed and upped my cadence. It took about 3 to 5 minutes after it subsided. After it subsided, I felt good from that point on forward. Not sure what it was. I never had this problem before, perhaps it was a fluke. After reaching the summit of Banducci, I pulled over to relax for a minute. I checked the GoPro battery. It was at 45% remaining. Shortly after, I headed back down the mountain. There was some traffic mitigation, but mostly safe. After reaching the base, I headed up Highline and did the Buffalo Run. After zipping around the residential area, I made my way back to Highline and to OTR. OTR was mostly fun and games. I pushed over Mariposa and then Weston where I shut it down.
Concentration was good. I had stuff to think about. Balance and form was mostly good. Ailments, left groin pain. Again, it felt like a pinched nerve. I let up and allowed it to pass, and that it did. I had some hand numbness while climbing. The usual shake of the hands fixed that problem. Nutrition was good. Minimal hunger signs. I went through my powder drink and some water. Gear worked flawlessly. Other notes, no cyclists today.*
