Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

It's warming up. In the 80's, but the air was on the cool side. A good day to go to the Alpine Forest. My right knee is still hinting on soreness. It took about 10 minutes until the soreness subsided. After that, I was good to go. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation, otherwise went as usual. After making it to Weston, I found a shady spot because it felt like a bug went down my jersey. I checked but nothing to be found. The climb well. It was warm, but within my comfort zone. The landmarks went quick. I was near max going over the top. I zipped around the backside and to the summit of Banducci. I reached 41MPH on the downhill. The descent off Banducci was mostly safe. Only light traffic. I was able to feather the brakes on the way down the Wall. After making it back to OTR, it was mostly fun and games. I pushed over Mariposa and shut it down at the top of Weston.
Concentration was good. Patience was good. I was in the zone for most of the ride. Nutrition was good. I drank most of my sport drink and some water. Ailments, some right hand numbness. The right knee is still mildly sore. It took 10 minutes for it to subside until it became a moot issue. The inner glute is still hinting on soreness but did not detract from the ride. Balance and form was good. Gear worked flawlessly. Other notes, no cyclists out there today.
