Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

They predicted 90 degree weather today, so I got out as early as I could. Around 8:30-ish AM. The winds were from the North West, slightly turbulent in other places. The legs felt average to start. They needed warming up. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation. I was near max going over the top. I recovered on the flats and made my way to the summit. After cresting the summit, I pulled over to hydrate, recover and let traffic by. Shortly after, I headed down the mountain. It was mostly safe. There was some oncoming traffic, but nothing from behind. The trek through the farmlands went quick. I think I had a mild tailwind. After passing the front entrance, I took a few moments to rest. My ankle was bothering me since yesterday, but I had almost no discomfort while riding on the bike. I made my way around the backside. I stopped once to take photos of a lot that had a sign that said "Defensible Land Example" or something like that. Pertaining to landscaping ones property as to prevent fires from spreading. After taking the photos, I made my way to the rear entrance. I took a few moments to recover and then headed downhill. I put in a good sprint reaching over 42 MPH in the tuck. I stopped at the local park to take a quick bio and then got back on the road. I passed the tunnel in about 1:05-ish hours. I stopped again at the local mini-mart and mixed a powder drink using the extra water bottle I had in my saddle bag. From there, I headed back. The trek through the farmlands was mostly moderate tempo. I was stretching and getting out of the saddle to relieve pressure from the sit bones. I forgot to check the time at Boss Hogs, but I think it was around 1:30-ish hours. Around that same time, I had to swap out the GoPro battery. I made my way up the last climb, doing no less then moderate tempo. I kept the tempo going over the top using my smallest gear. I was able to recover while making my way to Route 202. Route 202 had no traffic mitigation, so I was able to relax my way to OTR. From there, it was mostly fun and games till I reached Mariposa. I pushed over Mariposa and made my way back to Weston, where I shut it down after pushing to the top.
Concentration was good. Minimal lapses and minimal gremlins. Balance and form was good. Ailments, my right ankle was sore before the ride, but I had minimal discomfort while on the bike. The nature of the pedal stroke didn't agitate the soreness. Nutrition was good. No hunger signs. I went through almost 2 bottles of sport drink, no water. Gear worked flawlessly, but I did drop my chain on the way down from Banducci. I stopped once to put it back into position. From there, I had no problems.
Other notes, I saw about 10 cyclists, maybe more. It was a beautiful day to get out!
