Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. I planned on going to OTR + Keene today. When I woke up, it was raining. I gave it a couple of hours, but it persisted. So, I decided to ride indoors. I chose the Watopia Mountain Route. The legs felt pretty good to start. I used my Madone for this ride. I adjusted the saddle height to match the Emonda. It worked out great! I was having some technical difficulties with the signal. The ANT dongle lost reception from time to time. I'll have to get another one, or perhaps a longer extension cord. Nevertheless, i got the workout I wanted. They changed the mountain route slightly. The top of the mountain had a juncture that wasn't there before. There wasn't that downhill segment leading to the top of the climb. I was doing between 2.5 to 3 W/kg most of the time. I think I got middle of the pack placing at the summit. I finished the climb with the "Bonus Climb". It too was slightly modified. I was doing the numbers because I have an appointment later today. After cresting the bonus climb summit, I made my way down the mountain. The miles went quick from here to the finish.
After reaching the finish, I took a few moments to let the HR get down to 112 BPM, and then I hopped off.
Concentration was good for the most part. A bit impatient to start. Balance and form was good. Ailments, some left hand numbness on the upper slopes out of the saddle efforts. Nutrition was good. I drank all of my sport drink and some water. Gear worked, but the ANT+ signal dropped out now and again. I had to hop off the trainer to re-seat the rear wheel because it was squeaking. That fixed the problem. Other notes, there were about 4000 riders when I hopped on.
